It has been confirmed by Microsoft that the Arcade SKU Xbox 360 does have 512 MB internal memory. I remember when people said the Falcon chipsets were RROD-Proof and we all know what happened from there. If you want to get in an argument against this look at the re-branding of the RROD as error code 74 by the way. There is no published statistics (By Microsoft) to confirm that the Japsper chips sets are "RROD-proof".
